electHer to host second informational Zoom panel

electHER, a community volunteer group with the goal of increasing the number of women elected to municipal office in Grey-Bruce, has announced their second informational Zoom panel.

The free event, with the theme of "Learning About the Job" will take place on Tuesday, May 11 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The session is geared for anyone interested in running for office in 2022, or who is curious about what a day in the life of a Mayor, Deputy-Mayor or Councillor looks like.

The event is expected to fill up quickly and interested participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

electHER Community Volunteer Sarah Pederson will host the event, which features a panel of four local politicians:

� Christine Robinson, West Grey Mayor

� Shirley Keaveney, Meaford Deputy-Mayor

� Cathy Moore Coburn, Georgian Bluffs Councillor

� Megan Myles, Northern Bruce Peninsula Councillor

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
