Perth South Council want public input on potentially allowing Sunday gun hunting

Perth South is asking for public input on possibly allowing Sunday gun hunting in the municipality.

Recently, a request was made to Perth South Council on June 1st to consider allowing gun hunting on Sundays, which is currently prohibited. Following discussions over the staff report and a presentation from the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, council decided that public consultation was necessary. The Sunday Gun Hunting Public Consultation is now open, and residents can now go online and complete a short survey and access a Q and A platform regarding Sunday gun hunting in Perth South.

Anyone wishing to participate in the public consultation can visit the website http://www.getinvolvedperthsouth.ca and submissions will be accepted until no later than Thursday, July 8th.
