Midland residents ready to claim $100,000 OLG prize

Two women from Midland have won $100,000 playing ENCORE.

Lorraine Pelletier is a worker at an authorized OLG retailer but did not buy the ticket or validate it at her place of work.

Instead, she bought it at the Daisy Mart on Vinden Street in Midland.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said she plans to share her win with Roberta Wilkinson, also of Midland.

The two still have to claim their prize at the OLG.

Since Pelletier is what the corporation calls an insider winner, she had to wait 30 days to claim her prize. It scrutinizes those wins closer. If no one else claims it, she can accept it on Monday, July 13.
