Handful of new COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario

There is a handful of new COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario today.
The Grey-Bruce Health Unit reported 5 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in Grey Bruce, 3 in Brockton, 1 in Owen Sound and 1 in Saugeen Shores. There is 1 active variant of concern among 51 active cases, with 89 active high-risk contacts self isolating. There is1 confirmed case hospitalized in Grey Bruce due to COVID-19.
Huron-Perth Public Health is reporting 1 new case of COVID today in Stratford. There are 18 active cases, 5 being variants of concern. The outbreak at Knollcrest Lodge continues with still no residents affected. 2 people are currently hospitalized in Huron-Perth.
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is reporting 3 new cases, with 2 in Wellington County, just one of those being in Wellington North. There are 9 active cases in Wellington County.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
