UPDATE: Power restored after weather related outage

UPDATE at 9:45 a.m.

Power has been restored after an outage affected over 3,500 Hydro One customers through Friday morning.

The outage through parts of Huron and Bruce counties also affected Westario customers in the Kincardine area.

Hydro One listed the cause of the outage as weather related and started after 2 a.m. and lasted to just after 9 a.m.

The area affected stretched from Kingsbridge in Huron County north into Bruce County. The area affected also stretched east into Huron-Kinloss.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
