Norwell DSS Student receives Schulich Leader Scholarship award

A student from Norwell District Secondary School is one of 100 nationwide recipients of a Schulich Leader Scholarship.

The Schulich Leader Scholarship is now in its tenth year, and it is annually awarded to 100 students across Canada by partner universities. Students are awarded funding to pursue an undergraduate degree in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, also known as STEM. Among the winners this year was Norwell District Secondary School student Daniel W., who plans to use his scholarship at Western University as he is set to enter the Engineering program.

Daniel was one of three Upper Grand District School Board recipients of a Schulich Leader Scholarship this year.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
