Central Huron awards work for municipal promotional video to company in Toronto

Central Huron Mayor, Jim Ginn, says council awarded the request for proposal for a promotional video of the municipality to Winged Whale of Toronto.

Ginn says they'll meet with company later this week to work out what they hope to achieve with the video and where the focus should be. Ginn says they'll want to highlight some of the assets of the municipality, as well as some of businesses.

“The assets for sure, some of the businesses. We'll use it for both business attraction and people who may wish to re-locate into Central Huron and once you start listing all the assets we have, it's quite impressive.”

Ginn adds, once the construction on the main street in Clinton is completed, that should be a selling point.

“Like many towns, these are very old buildings that we have and they need some work from time to time and we'll do the streetscape and encourage our business owners to keep fixing up their store fronts and signage and the building facades themselves, so keep working away at that.”

Ginn says he hopes the video can be completed within a couple of months.
