2021 Peninsula Classic Car Run deemed successful

Organizers of the 2021 Peninsula Classic Car Run say it was a great success in spite of the rain.  Spokesman Dave Middleton of the Grey Bruce Sunset Cruisers said the Peninsula Run on August 1st drew over 160 classic cars and over $1500 in donations for the Grey Bruce Crime Stoppers program

Hundreds of enthusiastic classic car watchers at Sunday afternoon's Classic Car event of the Summer. Cars participating in this Show 'n Go event were from all across southern Ontario and started from locations at Owen Sound, Wiarton, Lion's Head, Sauble Beach and Saugeen Shores, with the day ending at Wiarton Keppel International Airport.

This is the second of three Grey Bruce Crime Stoppers fund raising events. The next event will be the "Fall Colour Tour" scheduled for September 26th

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
