Cyclist airlifted after collision in South Bruce Peninsula

Grey Bruce OPP report a cyclist was airlifted to a Toronto area hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries following a collision on Bruce Road 13 in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

On August 4, 2021, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and the Sauble Beach Fire Department responded to the motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist

The Grey Bruce OPP are continuing the investigation. It is believed that there are witnesses that had stopped to render assistance, and departed once emergency crews were on scene. The Grey Bruce OPP would like to speak with these witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or online at www.opp.ca/reporting.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
