Fire near Kincardine under investigation

The South Bruce OPP, the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit and the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) are investigating a fire at a property along Boiler Beach Road in Huron Township.

On August 9, 2021 at 2:34 a.m., Officers responded with members of the Kincardine Fire & Emergency Services and Ripley-Huron Fire Department to find the structure was fully engulfed by flames.

Investigators are interested in viewing any video surveillance in the area of the fire between 12:00 p.m. on August 8, 2021 and 6:00 a.m. on August 9, 2021.

There were no injuries reported at the scene of the fire.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
