Police identify pedestrian killed in Dundalk

Grey Bruce OPP have identified the victim of a fatal collision involving a pedestrian west of Dundalk.

The deceased has been identified as Ron Hamilton, 41 Years of age, from Dundalk, ON.

The incident that occurred about 12:44 am yesterday remains under investigation by Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

OPP allege The preliminary investigation has determined a sedan was travelling westbound on Grey Road 9 near Ida Street when the vehicle collided with a pedestrian who was lying on the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation with assistance from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team.
