Police investigating sexual assault at Huron County provincial park

Police are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted at Point Farms Provincial Park.

The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police said shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday, the victim was confronted and groped by a stranger in the public shower/washroom area. She was able to defend herself and quickly ran to safety.

The suspect is described as a brown-skinned male, around 40 years of age, 5'6" tall, with balding brown hair. He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
