Saugeen Shores to host Labour Day fireworks

In collaboration with the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Saugeen Shores is hosting joint Canada Day and Labour Day fireworks.

It will be held at Dominion Lookout, at the bottom of High Street in Southampton on the Saturday of the long weekend, September 4th at dusk.

“It will be exciting to see fireworks back in Saugeen Shores,” says Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “We look forward to seeing the community out at this event and encourage everyone to continue to be mindful of Public Health safety protocols.”

Attendees can enjoy a charity BBQ held by the Saugeen Shores Rotary Club and heritage and cultural booths from 4pm – 8pm the night of the fireworks.

Those planning on attending the fireworks are reminded to maintain physical distancing from those not in your household, wear a mask, and wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently.

A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, September 5th if required.
