COVID-19 vaccine clinics carry into next week

As we approach the last full week of August, there are a number of COVID-19 vaccine clinics still available.

In Huron and Perth, the schedule includes clinics with appointments available in Stratford and Goderich. There are also multiple walk-in clinics on the schedule.

There is one Seaforth at the community Friday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.. And there are two more Saturday. One in Clinton between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the public health office and at the Rotary Complex in Stratford between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

In Bruce County, there is a pop-up clinic at the Southampton arena between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday, followed by one in Walkerton at Walkerton District Community School between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
