Small uptick in COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario

There was a small increase in new COVID-19 cases today in Midwestern Ontario.

The Grey-Bruce Health Unit added no new cases today. There are 28 active cases, and outbreaks continue at the Kelso Villa Retirement Home and Queen of Hearts Nursery in Owen Sound.

Huron-Perth Public Health added just 1 new case, in Huron East. There are 19 active cases in that health region with an active outbreak ongoing at Knollcrest Lodge.

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health added 6 new cases with just 2 in Wellington County. There are 55 active cases in that region with only 7 being in Wellington. There are no active outbreaks.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
