Walkerton man faces child pornography charges

South Bruce OPP have charged one man following an online child exploitation investigation.

Police searched a home in Walkerton today (Tuesday) and seized several electronic devices. As a result of this investigation, 27 year old Anish Ranadive was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, and one count of making child pornography available.

These charges are not yet proven in court.

The accused is scheduled to appear at a bail hearing.

Police are asking anyone who may have information regarding this investigation or if you have information regarding internet child exploitation, please contact the OPP.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
