Police on-scene at crash that closes roadway

Grey-Bruce OPP are on-scene at a crash that has closed a local roadway.

Police tweeted just before 3 p.m. this afternoon that Grey Road 3 between Sideroads 7 and 9A and Sideroad 8 between Concession 12 and Concession 8 near Chesley are closed following a crash. Two vehicles were involved and one driver was airlifted to London via Ornge Air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking drivers to avoid the area for now.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
