Walk-in vaccine clinics available in Huron and Perth

COVID-19 walk-in vaccination clinics resume in Huron and Perth Wednesday.

There are two clinics, one in Clinton at the public health building and one in Listowel at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex. Both run 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The clinic in Clinton is also set up as a drive-thru location.

The clinics continue for the rest of the week through to Saturday and the time and locations are listed below.

Thursday, August 26 Exeter | South Huron Recreation Centre | 94 Victoria Street East | 4-7PM Stratford (Neighbourhood pop-up clinic; everyone welcome) | 45 Buckingham Drive (between Murray Hill Road & Douglas Street) | 4-7PM

Friday, August 27 Monkton | Elma Logan Recreation Complex | 200 Nelson Street | 4-7PM

Saturday, August 28 Goderich | Goderich Memorial Arena | 180 McDonald Street | 2-5PM Stratford | Huron Perth Public Health | 653 West Gore Street | DRIVE THRU clinic 11AM-2PM

More clinics are scheduled for early September.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
