Another handful of new COVID-19 cases logged in Midwestern Ontario

Another small case count for new COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario on Thursday.

The Grey-Bruce Health Unit added no new cases. There are 22 active cases and the outbreak continues at Kelso Villa Retirement Home.

Huron-Perth Public Health recorded 6 new cases, 1 in Bluewater, 1 in Morris-Turnberry, 1 in North Perth, 1 in West Perth and 2 in Perth East. There are 21 active cases with an outbreak ongoing at Knollcrest Lodge.

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health added 11 new cases, with just 1 in Wellington County. There are 76 active cases, 9 of which are in Wellington. There are no active outbreaks.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
