Slight rise in COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario

New COVID-19 cases rose slightly in Midwestern Ontario.

There are no new COVID-19 cases reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Tuesday. Currently there are 14 active cases in Grey Bruce and one active outbreak continuing in the Kelso Villa Retirement Home.

Huron Perth Public Health hasn’t released any new case numbers. There are 27 active cases. There is one active outbreak ongoing at Knollcrest Lodge.

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health added 14 new cases Tuesday, 5 of which are in Wellington County. There are 104 active cases including 21 in Wellington County. There are no active outbreaks.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
