Child care help for Huron County families

Huron County is helping families with children who go to licensed child care by covering their fees for October.

The funding to do so is coming from the Ministry of Education and the Government of Canada.

In a release the county says the one-time limited funding program is giving support directly to families when they may be experiencing increased financial burdens due to the impact of COVID-19.

Licensed child care providers will directly bill Huron County's Children's Services so parents and guardians will not have to take any action.
