Paisley Inn remembered

There's going to be a ceremony to honour the Paisley Inn as the demolition of the building gets underway.

The Inn is being torn down to make way for the construction of commercial and residential units at the space.

Some local business owners are planning a ceremony for September 13th between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

It will begin with a socially distanced gathering at the Paisley Cenotaph Square and there will be speeches from local dignitaries, a ceremonial sledgehammering of the front door, and the presentation of a brick from the building to Arran-Elderslie Mayor Steve Hammell.
