UPDATE: Police identify victim in crash west of Exeter

**Updated as of 3:25 p.m., September 16th, 2021**

Huron County OPP is investigating a fatal crash west of Exeter.

Just after 4 a.m. Thursday, police, fire and paramedics were called to the scene on Ausable Line between Dashwood Road and Huron Street West.

Police say a sedan left the gravel roadway and collided with a tree. One occupant was found deceased within the vehicle. Police have now identified the deceased as 16-year-old Centralia native Keiran Stewart.

Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team are assisting with the collision investigation.

Ausable Line between Dashwood Road and Huron Street West has re-opened.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
