One person injured in Mount Forest house fire

A house fire in Mount Forest left one person with smoke inhalation.

Wellington OPP and Wellington North Fire Service were called to the occupied home around 5:15 p.m. Sunday to a report the house was on fire. One person suffered smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is not known.

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
