Hydro One responds to scattered Power outages

Hydro One continues to respond to power outages scattered across Midwestern Ontario as thunderstorms and high winds move across southern and central Ontario.

Customers near Conestogo Lake,  Bayfield, Durham, Hanover, Tobermory, Owen Sound, and Allenford  should be reconnected by 7 pm.

Customers can report their outage by texting WATTS, online, or by calling 1-800-434-1235

People are reminded to stay clear of any fallen power lines. If you spot a fallen line, keep at least 10 meters back, even if it does not appear to be live. Report it to the police and call Hydro One at 1-800-434-1235.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
