MP Alex Ruff promises to represent all constituents

Reelected Grey Bruce MP Alex Ruff says he is humbled by the privilege of continuing to serve the region. The Conservative Party of Canada candidate was re-elected Monday as Member of Parliament for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound.

Ruff released a statement thanking constituents for their support.  He said he remains committed to serving honourably and to represent all constituents in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound.

Ruff also recognized the other candidates for their efforts and in running respectful campaigns.

"It takes great personal sacrifice and a strong desire for community to put your name on the ballot. Thank you all for taking part in the democratic processes we are so fortunate to have here in Canada," he said.

Ruff credits a a dedicated team of volunteers along with incredible family support. He says they knocked on thousands of doors across the riding, including answering hundreds of emails and phone calls.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
