Cyclones coach says team playing well heading into busy weekend

Listowel Cyclones Head Coach & GM Jesse Cole feels his team is ready for three games in four nights over this weekend. starting with a road tilt against the Ayr Centennials this evening.

Cole says "our focus right now is working on consistency, that compete-level and execution, so this is a big weekend for us to be able to test that".

The Cyclones opened the season with a 6-2 road loss Friday against Stratford, but looked much better Sunday afternoon at home against Caledon, winning 6-1.

Listowel is currently being paced by forwards Cam Knight and Chet Hudson, who both have a goal and two assists on the young season.

Cole confirms Goaltender Carter Garvie gets the start for Listowel this evening against Ayr.

Puck drop tonight at 7:30 at the North Dumfries Community Complex in Ayr.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
