Stratford resident named an Ontario Senior of the Year

Michele Boniface of Stratford is one of 15 recipients named as an Ontario Senior of the Year. A media release from the province calls Boniface a tireless supporter of the arts through her work with the Off-the-Wall Stratford Artists Alliance. The program gives students the opportunity to learn, earn and collaborate with artists involved in the Stratford Festival.

She is also a member of the Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts Advisory Committee and has contributed to numerous projects involving arts and music, civic beautification and environmental awareness.

The Ontario Senior Achievement Awards recognize people who have made outstanding contributions to their communities through voluntary or professional activities after the age of 65.
