Housing plan part of open house in Wingham

Housing has been on the radar of a lot of area council's recently and now there could be movement on a development in Wingham.

North Huron Council will be hosting an open house later this month, which will focus on the former trailer park property.

A notice from the township says there is a proposed development, a five storey building with 73 units.

Part of the project would also include moving a section of the Wingham Community Trail to a nearby riverbank.

The proposed purchasers and project representatives are expected to be in attendance to present information on the project, and answer questions.

The open hours is scheduled for Wednesday, October 27th from 4-7 p.m. at the Wingham Legion.
