Another nurse practitioner joins Saugeen Shores roster

Saugeen Shores residents who do not have a family care provider or are a transient community member will have access to expanded nurse practitioner primary health care services and a Same Day Urgent Care Clinic.

That's through a project between The Municipality of Saugeen Shores and VON Canada - Ontario Branch.

Currently there is one nurse practitioner at the Saugeen Shores Medical Building. Now a second will be added to the roster.

Residents, who don’t have a primary care provider or are transient, will be offered the opportunity to be a permanent client until those panels are at maximum capacity.

This includes transient community members who may have a provider at a distance but need to be seen while in the area for an urgent concern.

Patients must call 1-226-909-1309 to make an appointment.
