Police investigate tire slashing in Mount Forest

Wellington County OPP are investigating after a slew of vehicle tires were slashed in Mount Forest.

At 1:45 a.m. on October 27th, police responded to a call from a complainant stating that their tires on their vehicle had been slashed.

Officers arrived on the scene and discovered that 15 other vehicles on Main Street in Mount Forest had their tires slashed, and more had slashed tires on Wellington Street in a parking lot.

Police say a total of 21 vehicles were found to have slashed tires. A patrol of the area was conducted but no suspects were located.

Anyone with any information regarding this rash of vehicle vandalism should contact Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
