OPP lay charges in fatal August crash near Kincardine

A Kincardine man faces charges after investigation into a fatal crash in late August.

On August 24, just after 4 p.m., police, paramedics and Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services responded to the scene of a crash involving a pick up truck and a motorcycle.

Two people were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.

The passenger was was taken to hospital and was pronounced dead. The operator of the motorcycle was taken to a London hospital by Ornge air ambulance for treatment of serious injuries.

Police have charged a 22-year old with Careless Driving causing Death and Careless Driving causing Bodily Harm.

He's scheduled to appear in court on November 16 to answer to the charges, which have yet to be proven in court.
