The Grey Bruce Health unit added four new cases of COVID-19 Monday, three in Hanover, and one in Chatsworth. There are 33 active cases. Two residents are currently hospitalized with the virus.
Huron Perth Public Health added nine new cases, and are reporting 33 active cases. Four of the new cases are in Perth East, two each in Huron East and Bluewater, and one in St Marys.
Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added 15 new cases, including 5 in Wellington County. There are 16 active cases in Wellington. Two residents are currently hospitalized with the virus.
Ontario is reporting that 133 people are in intensive care units due to COVID-19. Health Minister Christine Elliott says the figure may be incomplete, as not all hospitals submit that data on weekends. There are 25 patients from Saskatchewan in Ontario I-C-U's. Ontario is reporting 422 new COVID-19 cases today and three more deaths.
