Driver airlifted to hospital from scene of crash in Township of Chatsworth

Grey Bruce OPP says a driver had to be airlifted from the scene of a crash near Desboro earlier this week.

A media release says one driver was airlifted to a Hamilton-area hospital with life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Grey Roads 3 and 40 in the Township of Chatsworth on Tuesday.

The occupants in the second vehicle were not injured.

Grey Bruce OPP and the OPP's West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team are continuing the investigation, and updates will be provided when they become available.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
