Bruce County highlights infrastructure work

Bruce County has launched a 'video showcase' highlighting the number of infrastructure projects through 2021.

Some of the bigger projects included work on Bruce Road 25, south of Port Elgin, which converted the rural-road cross-section to urban-road standards. New storm and sanitary sewers were also installed and an asphalt trail to the beach was created locals and tourists.

Repairs on Blackwell Bridge, on Bruce Road 23, north of Kincardine, focused on concrete patching, drainage improvements, waterproofing, and deck resurfacing.

Reid Bridge on Bruce Road 6, west of Teeswater, and Steffler Bridge on Bruce Road 12, north of Belmore, were fully replaced to help meet local and agricultural traffic needs.

Bruce County also completed an number of re-surfacing projects.
