Police investigating recent mischief and theft incidents

Grey-Bruce OPP are currently investigating two recent incidents in the town of Meaford.

The first incident is believed to have occurred on October 22nd, when the owner of an SUV that was parked at the Market Square parking lot, located near Nelson Street East, returned to find the rear window smashed with a rock. Roughly $800 in belongings were stolen from the vehicle. The second incident took place between October 21st and the 24th, on Sykes Street North. Unknown suspects caused damage to secure storage lockers at the location, and removed several locks.

Anyone with any information regarding these two incidents should contact Grey-Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
