Saugeen Shores Police lay impaired driving charge

Saugeen Shores Police responded to a report of a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Bruce Road 3 with a male slumped over in the drivers seat.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon at about 3:40pm.

Police arrived on scene and the male driver was woken up and arrested for Operation while Impaired.

He was brought back to the police station where he provided two samples of breath to a Qualified Breath Technician.

As a result of this investigation a 37 year old man from Guelph has been charged with Operation while impaired (80+). His vehicle was towed and his licence was suspended.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
