Bruce County seeks input on rehabilitation of Bruce Road 6 East A

The County of Bruce has retained BT Engineering Inc. to undertake an Environmental Assessment (EA) Study and Detail Design for the rehabilitation of Bruce Road 6 East A.

The project extends from George Street in Mildmay to Grey Road 10 and includes two bridges.

The study has investigated the roadway design and is recommending a preferred plan to address the traffic needs within the project area

Phase 1 of construction is proposed from Mildmay to Deemerton including reconstruction of Sideroad 20. Phase 1 is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2022/2023.

Phase 2 from east of Sideroad 20 to Grey Road 10. is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2026/2027.

An online Public Information Centre is underway over two-weeks and a “live” virtual Zoom meeting will take place on November 24, 2021,  from 6:30 to 8:00 PM

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
