Youth charged following incident that caused hold-and-secure at local school

South Bruce OPP have charged a youth following an incident at a local school.

On November 11th at 1:07 p.m., police received information that threats were being made by an individual in the town of Kincardine. A local school was put in a hold-and-secure as officers searched the area. As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged a 17-year-old from Kincardine with Uttering Threats. They will be appearing in court at a later date to answer to the charge.

Police say this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
