UPDATE: Police investigating fatal crash

Updated at 10 p.m.

One man was killed in a crash involving a pick-up truck and SUV near Dashwood in Huron County Monday.

Police were called to the scene of the crash on Bronson Line between Pepper Road and MacDonald Road just before noon. Fire services and paramedics also responded.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital where the driver of the pick-up truck was pronounced deceased. Police have identified the deceased as Matthew George, 52, of Bluewater.

The driver of the SUV, a 35-year old, is still in hospital with undetermined injuries.

Members of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement Team were at the scene to assist with the investigation.

Bronson Line was closed between Zurich-Hensall Road, Huron County 84, and Dashwood Road, Huron County 83,.

Police say more information will be provided when it's available.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
