Bruce County crash results in critical injuries

A motorist was critically injured in a two vehicle collision in Bruce County Thursday.

On November 18, 2021 at 5:48 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bruce County Road 20 and Bruce County Road 23 in Bruce Township.

Officers responded with members of Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

One vehicle was westbound on Bruce County Road 20 and the other was northbound on Bruce County Road 23 at the time of the collision.

The driver of the westbound vehicle was taken to a local hospital, then airlifted to a London hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was taken to a local hospital for assessment.

Bruce County Road 20 and Bruce County 23 were closed near the scene for the protection of emergency responders. The investigation is continuing.
