North Huron Council supports plan to move museum to former train station

North Huron Council has accepted a proposal from the Museum committee to move forward with a plan to move the museum to the former train station building from the former post office downtown.

North Huron Council discussed the proposal during a special council meeting on Nov. 10 at the Town Hall Theatre.

Council directed staff to proceed with next steps.

Terms of reference will be created for the fundraising committee.

A report to council suggests savings from selling the airport can be applied to the museum.
