On November 17th at 3:08 p.m., officers received a call regarding threats made at a school in the Municipality of Brockton. Officers responded and determined the threat wasn't specific in nature. Police worked with members of the South Bruce OPP Major Crime Unit and school administrators to investigate the threat and ensure students and staff were safe. South Bruce OPP briefly increased police presence at the school to reassure staff and students that they were safe.

Following an investigation, police determined the threat was unsubstantiated. Police say this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
