Goderich set to reopen town hall

The Mayor of Goderich says they're getting ready to fully re-open their offices at the town hall.

John Grace says council gave the go-ahead to start re-opening to full capacity.

"Last night council gave the go-ahead to start the re-opening to full capacity of all our staff back in town hall. We'll open cautiously and we open with safety in mind of not only the public, but out staff."

Grace says some of the details regarding things like staff choosing to continue working from home still have to be worked out, but he says their offices are open now.

"But our offices are open today and we do have protocols, but we hope that by January some time even more and more offices will open up in our service side of the municipality."
