Police investigating fatal collision at Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation

On Saturday, November 27th, at approximately 5 a.m., the Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation Police, with the assistance of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and the Neyaashiinigmiing Fire Department responded to an off road vehicle collision on Lakeshore Boulevard in Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation.

One driver was pronounced deceased on scene. They have been identified as 20-year-old Papasai-Daisy Johnston-Jones, of Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation. 

The Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation Police and the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team (TIME) are continuing the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
