Elma Township Public School in Atwood has been closed because of the number of COVID-19 cases being tracked by public health.
There are currently 21 cases listed on the Avon Maitland District School Board's website under its COVID-19 information page.
While an outbreak was declared last week, the school is listed as closed Monday and will stay closed until at least December 6.
Any information from Huron Perth Public Health and the school board will be sent directly to families.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
