Crash in South Bruce sends one person to hospital

South Bruce OPP is investigating a single vehicle crash that happened on Monday night.

The crash happened on Concession 2 in Culross Township, between Bruce County Road 4 and Side Road 5a.

Police, South Bruce Fire Rescue Teeswater and Huron County Emergency Medical Services responded to the call after a pick-up truck left the road and hit a tree.

The lone occupant of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital, then airlifted to a London hospital for treatment of serious, non-life threatening, injuries.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
