Three people arrested after home invasion in Seaforth

Three Hensall residents face charges following a home invasion in Seaforth over the weekend.

Police say on Saturday at around 7:15 p.m. an adult victim went to the OPP office in Seaforth and reported the invasion on Main Street.

An investigation revealed three individuals attended the victim's residence, forced their way inside and proceeded to assault the victim and a friend. A quantity of cash was also taken as the suspects fled the residence.

Investigators were able to identify the accused and they were all arrested and taken into custody.

Brett Parker, 30, Luke Kennedy, 30, and Jessica Elliott, 25, all of Hensall face charges.

They include: · Break, Enter Dwelling House - Commit Indictable Offence · Unlawfully in Dwelling House · Robbery with Violence · Forcible Confinement · Assault Causing Bodily Harm · Assault Cause Bodily Harm - Choke · Overcome Resistance by Attempting to Choke Another Person

All three accused remain in custody with upcoming court dates.

Police say there is no threat to public safety however they are reminding residents to be aware of their personal safety at all times and to be vigilant when any stranger arrives at your home.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
