Mobility scooter stolen in Port Albert

The OPP is trying to track down a stolen mobility scooter from Port Albert in Huron County.

Sometime between 9 a.m. on November 28 and 9 a.m. on November 29, an outdoor mobility scooter and trailer was stolen from a home located on Ashfield Street in Port Albert.

While police located the stolen trailer abandoned on River Mill Line, the scooter wasn't found.

It is described as a red, 2013 Pride Wrangler outdoor mobility scooter valued at $7,500.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
