New COVID-19 cases reported across the region

The Grey Bruce Health unit added one new case of COVID-19 Tuesday, located in The Blue Mountains. There are 44 active cases. Two residents are currently hospitalized with the virus. 

Huron Perth Public Health added six new cases. Three are in Perth East, two in North Perth, and one in Howick. There are 68 active cases. Six residents are currently hospitalized with the virus. 

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added six new cases including three in Wellington County. There are 34 active cases in Wellington. Two residents are currently hospitalized with the virus.

There are 928 new cases of COVID-19 and nine virus-related deaths in Ontario today. Of the new cases, 450 are in people who aren't fully vaccinated against the virus and 77 people have an unknown vaccination status. There are 165 people in I-C-Us with COVID-19 related illness, including 95 on ventilators.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
